Dear Ricardo; I have heard of other Landis in San Paolo. A guy named Everson Corrazza contacted me too. My ancestors came from the Benevento, Pannaranno area in Italy. Through the Ellis Island site I found his family traveling through. They too came from the same place. Not sure if we are related. Have you tried Ellis Island? The site is www.EllisIslandRecords.com
You type in your ancestors name and is they came through the port here they are listed, often with treaveling companions etc. If you have trouble let me know. I have used it many times. Good luck!
