I don't remember if I responded to this post or not, but if I haven't I will do so now. Your Great grandparents were also the parents of my Great grandmother, Martha Jane Tallulah Duncan Pool. She was supposed to have been Native American, Cherokee I believe, but possibly Creek. The name Tallulah means "Swift Water" or something like that. There is a Tallulah River and a Tallulah Falls somewhere in North Georgia.
She was married to my Great Grandfather, Andrew Judson Pool and had...I believe...five sons and one daughter. One of the sons, Wiley Edgar Pool, was my grandfather.
She was called Lula, and, though only about five feet tall and weighing less than one hundred pounds, was said to be a regular dynamo always on the move working at something.
I would be interested in anything you might have regarding the Duncan line especially about any Native American heritage. I believe it to be on the Pool side of the family also, and maybe on the Lynch side as well.
My grandmother added an 'E' to the Pool family name, and its been spelled 'Poole" ever since. Needless to say my grandmother was a little odd!
