Hello Michael, My name is Mary Lillington and my maternal grandparents were Alcrofts from Cheshire. I have found out quite a bit from a man called Gary Haulcroft. Don't know if you have ever had dealings with him. Very helpful. I have also had extensive contact with a lady called Ellen Griffiths from Glasgow. Also a lady called Mary Jane Purvis from Northumberland. I seem to progress so far and then hit a brick wall. If you have any info about the Cheshire Alcrofts I would appreciate it, And maybe I could give you some info. Hope to hear from you
