Monika, I am a HAMPP descendant - my surname isn't HAMPP, though. My earliest HAMPP ancestor was Hans HAMPP(11Gr-grf.)who was born about 1520 and died in 1590 in Buoch, Baden-Wurttemberg. The family lived in that village for many generations. My last direct connection with the HAMPP name was in the 1600's when Anna HAMPP married Georg SCHLOTZER. Their daughter, Anna-Katharina, married Johann-Jakob WALKER, my 6Gr-grandfather. My father's mother was a WALKER descendant of that line. The WALKER family came to Australia in the late 1800's from Buoch. They settled in and around the central Burnett area of Queensland.
