Hi "Hoeper" family in the US.It's very intresting to read all your comments.I'm brand new in this medium,I'm trying to find my roots in Germany and wonder,that most of you are related to German families in second or third generation.You may wonder I have family in the US,but not from the Hoeper side,but from my mothers side of the family.
It is the Bergman family from Detroit which are related by their mother who was born in Germany,familyname is Mackeprang and the Mackeprang family has their roots to the Island of FEHMARN as well.
Considering that the Hoeper's came from Fehmarn I am than probably from both my parents a "Fehmarner".I am staying time by time in the US with my cousins and nephews and nieces,looking forward to comments.
