Ellen Merz was my aunt She was married to Joseph Merz, who I remember as a very handsome man. She divorced him (I`m not sure when) and remarried. Their son, Joe Merz, my cousin, lived with us in California while he was in high school. He worked as a prison guard for awhile, married, and moved back to Ironwood, Michigan. He was killed in a train accident about 10 years ago. Ellen and Joe also had a daughter, and there are now grandchildren.
