Hi Ron:

I was having trouble getting the install to work on XP.. The error message I was getting was "Could not execute the external program C:\WINDOWS\system\regsvr32.exe" On XP that application (regsvr32.exe) resides in the system32 folder under the same path of C:\WINDOWS. Here's what I did to resolve that error. Right click on the regsvr32.exe and select copy then go to C:\WINDOWS\system and paste it in the system folder. Do the install for the CD, when install is complete, delete the regsvr32.exe you placed under the system folder and reboot your machine. The CD should be able to be used just like you did before. If this isn't what your issue is, please let me know details about what problem you are having and I'll see if I can be of more help..
