Flora Vereen (1/2 Cherokee Indian)
My grandparents - Booker Franks b. Hastings, St Johns County, Florida on 4-20-1908 d. 7-21-1976.
was married to
Julia Chappell b. 10-27-1914 in Troy, Alabama d. 3-16-1998.
My grandfather's siblings were:
Mary Wise(aunt Tessie b. 9-20-1919 d. 9-19-1976 m. Clarence Wise) Ohio
Gladys Ross - Compton, CA
Lucille Daniels - Los Angeles, CA

Jay D
*Earl
Ross - Stationed in the South Pacific during WWII
I'm told Earl and Lela were killed in a car/train collision in 1930's
The family moved to California after WWII.
Booker/Julia's children were:
Booker,Jr.(TX)
Robert-my father, Doris and Joan (OH)
Thomas & Donald (Deceased)
Julia Louise (VA)
William (NY)
James (MD)
Booker Sr. spent time in West Virginia, I don't know when or where. He played semi-pro football and did some boxing, again I don't know when or where. I need help with this!!!!
